Luberon Cookery School
Seasonal cooking course ~ 5 days

Set atop one of the lesser known hilltop villages in the very heart of the Luberon - the location of this cookery school is superb. Stunning views of the surrounding villages and the sun-bathed valley below, if you'd like to experiment a slice of the real Provençal lifestyle, this is the place to be.

Visits to the farmers' markets to source local and seasonal produce and meet the farmers that work so hard to bring us their magnificent products, tours of wineries -  Chateauneuf du Pape, Gigondas, Cairanne, Rasteau to mention a few, enjoy interesting meals in some of the best local restaurants, and foraging in the nature and learning about wild herbs. There's so much interest today about food and what we eat: during this week you'll learn how to choose your ingredients, how to cook or prepare them in less time then you thought, how to organise healthy meals and much more.

We'll cook from the scratch, using what's in season, rediscover ancient recipes that are forgotten or unknown and then seat around a beautiful table in the garden and enjoy our work. These weekly classes enable an in-depth immersion in Mediterranean food and wine and the Provence style of living, one of the most sought culinary locations in France.
