St Michel is a working farm on the edge of the small village of Servon in Normandy lying 8 km from Brittany and only 9 km from Mont St Michel.
In fact from most of the rooms in this charming B&B there are views across dairy farm land to the sea and Mont St Michel.
Servon itself has a population of just 250 people but boasts a superb restaurant serving typical and regional dishes using local produce.
St Michel comprises 5 double B&B rooms one of which has an additional single bed. All rooms have an ensuite shower, hand basin and w.c and tea and coffee making facilities. One of the rooms is on the ground-floor and the remainder are up a wide wooden staircase.
The large entrance is combined with the breakfast room and guest lounge. There is an air of neat presentation combined with homeliness. Large draped windows look out onto the owners dairy farm and beyond to the sea and the Mont St Michel.
Bicycles can be hired from the owners and they can tell you about all the different marked cycle routes. Day trips can include the Normandy beaches, the Norman towns of Caen, Honflleur, Deauville among many others, and the towns and villages of Brittany such as Rennes, St Malo, Dinan and St Brieuc.
